• RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
• NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, MAKING ALTERATIONS
AND CHANGES IN THE WORK PROPOSED TO BE DONE
ON MARGARET DRIVE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Division 4
of the Streets and Highways Code, and after due notice thereof
as given, as provided.in said Division, a hearing was held on
the 9th day of March, 1959, for the improvement of Margaret Drive;
and
and
WHEREAS, said hearing has been continued to this date;
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council pursuant to
Section 2884 of said Division that certain alterations and changes
should be made in said work; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has filed his estimate of
the cost of the.omissions and decreases in the work proposed, as
herein set forth in this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED
BY THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That all work lying northwesterly
of the northwesterly line of Lot 28 in Newport Heights, as shown
in Miscellaneous Map Book 4, Page 83, Records of Orange County
California, be omitted from the proposed work; and the north-
westerly boundary of the proposed assessment district be modified
to be the said northwesterly line of said Lot 28.
• SECTION 2. That the said alterations and changes will
• result in a decrease in the cost of the work.
