HomeMy WebLinkAbout4967 - Special Municipal Election 6-2-59It [dWC: c 4/13 9 (12) 1 RESOLUTION NO. 06-7 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE • CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPOINTING ELECTION • 3 OFFICERS AND ESTABLISHING_ THEIR COMPENSATION AND DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES THE SPECIAL 4 _IN MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON JUNE 2, 1959 5 6 WHEREAS, the City Council by resolution No. 4961 called 7 a special municipal election to be held on June 2, 1959; and 8 WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council appoint 9 election officers and establish their compensation and designate 10 polling places to be used in said special municipal election; 11 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport 12 Beach does hereby resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:' 13 Section 1. For the purpose of holding said special 14 municipal election, there shall be twenty -six (26) voting precincts 15 within the City of Newport Beach consisting of either regular 16 election precincts established for holding State or County elec- 17 tions, or a consolidation of some or all of such precincts.. The 18 respective precincts, polling places of said precincts and the 19 respective boards of election for said precincts are hereby fixed, 20 determined, appointed and established as follows: 21 VOTING PRECINCT 1, comprising State and County precinct 22 numbers 1 and 48. 23 The polling place shall be at the Lytle Residence, 207 - 24 40th Street, Newport Beach. 25 INSPECTOR: Mrs. Blanche L. The rental for each designated polling place where a charge is made shall be the sum of $10.00 for said special municipal election.
