A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF YEVIFORT BEACH CHANGING THE NAME OF MARINE
AV 3NU;. BET§dr.: -N CABRILLO HIGH11AY AND BAYSIDE
DRIVE TO "JAMBOREE ROAD"
?,:'HFRZ -AS, the street between Bayside Drive and Cabrillo
Highway which is the southerly extension of Jamboree Road is now
named "Marine Avenue"; and
T.Tffj�?EAS, the Planning Commission of the City after a
hearing on the subject has recommended that the name of the street
be changed to "Jamboree Road "; and
WHEREAS.. upon consideration of said recommendation of
the Planning Commission, it appears that it would be in the inter-
ests of the City and would be more convenient to the public to
change said street name;
NON., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the name of Marine Avenue between
Cabrillo Highway and Bayside Drive be changed to "Jamboree Road ".
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed tol
forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Super-
visors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions of
Section 34092 of the Government Code.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 13th day of
April, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

the foregoing Resolution No. 4968 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 13th day of April , 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
