A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A DEED OF. RIGHT. OF
WAY
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed a deed of right of way dated April 17, 1959, granting
to the City of Newport Beach an easement for public road purposes
over the real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:

Beginning at the northerly corner of Lot 3,
Tract 1125, as shown on a map recorded in Book 39,
pages 7 and 8 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California;. thence South 500 101 30"
East along the northeasterly line of said Lot 3 a
distance of 691.98 feet; thence South 39 0.491 30"
West a distance of 2.00 feet to a point, said point
being the westerly corner of Tract 1893, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 104, page 48 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County; thence North
500 101 30" West along a line lying southwesterly of,
parallel to, and distant 2.00 feet from the north-
easterly line of said Lot 3 a distance of 626.98 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the
south and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
westerly along said curve, thru a central angle of
900 001 35" an are distance of 23.57 feet; thence
South 390 481 55" West a distance of 108.33 feet to
the beginning of.a tangent curve, concave to the
northwest and having a radius of 256.55 feet; thence
southwesterly along said curve thru a central angle of
240 421 2711 an are distance of 110.63 feet; thence
South 64° 311 22" West a distance of 33.62 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the southeast
and having a radius of 136.11 feet; thence southwesterly
along said curve, thru a central angle of 24° 421 27"
an are distance of 58.69 feet to a point in the north-
westerly line of said Lot 30 Tract 1125; thence North
390 481 55" East along the northwesterly line of said
Lot 3, Tract 1125, a distance of 320.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
Reserving unto the Grantor, its successors and
assigns, the right to construct, maintain and operate
lines of any and all kinds across, under or over said
road or any part thereof, including lines for the
conveyance of water and including lines for telephone,
telegraph and electric power, but so as not to interfere
with the reasonable use for public road purposes.
Subject to all existing easements, reservations,
rights and rights of way of record;

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4985 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 2� 7th _ day of April , 1959, by the following
