RESOLUTION NO. 4994
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE PLANNING
COMMISSION TO APPROVE A TENTATIVE MAP

WHEREAS, a revised tentative map for Corona Highlands
Tract No. 2758 has been processed by the Planning Commission and
submitted to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 7 of
Article IXZ of the Newport Beach Municipal Code with a recommenda-
tion that exceptions to the minimum requirements of the Municipal
Code pertaining to:
1. Square footage for lots;
2. Lot depths;
3. Requirement of service road fronting on a state
highway; and
4. Alley widths;
be authorized; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the tentative
map and the recommendation of the Planning Commission and finds
that the exceptions recommended by the Planning Commission are
reasonable under the circumstances of this case and are necessary
to preserve property rights and substantially secure the objectives
of said Article;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby authorizes the Planning Commission to approve the tentative
map with the exceptions shown thereon as hereinabove set forth.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 11th day of May,
1959i,by the following vote, to wit:

NOES, COUNCILMEN: Lorenz, Stoddard

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and ;maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4994 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of May , 19 59 by the following
vote, to wit:
