111 RESOLUTION NO. 4997
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
3 LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY
COMPANY PERMITTING A PIPELINE ON THE RIGHT OF
4 WAY BETWEEN 35TH AND 36TH STREETS

6 WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has requested
7 permission from the Pacific Electric Railway Company for pipeline
8 crossing and longitudinal occupation of their right of way between
9 35th and 36th Streets; and
10 WHEREAS, said Pacific Electric Railway Company has pre -
11 pared and presented a license agreement dated January 9s 1959s
12 identified as Lease No. 16828, setting out the terms and condi-
13 tions under which such crossing and longitudinal occupation will
14 be permitted;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
16 Clerk be authorized and directed to execute said license agreement
17 on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
18 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
19 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 11th day of May.,
2011 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
21 AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Somers,
22 Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie;
23 NOES, COUNCILMEN: Stoddard.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of May , 19 59, by the following
vote, to wit:
