'RESOLUTION NO. 5000
A RESgLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH.ACCEPTING THE WORK
ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF BIG CANYON RESERVO
AND ORDERING A NOTICE OF COMPLETION TO BE
FILED

WHEREAS, on December 16, 1957, the City Council by reso
tion No. 4718 awarded a contract to Montgomery Ross Fisher, Inc.,
for the construction of Big Canyon Reservoir and appurtenances
designated as Schedule I in the specifications for the constructi
of Big Canyon Reservoir and transmission mains; and
WHEREAS, James M. Montgomery, the City's engineer, has
advised the City that Big Canyon Reservoir and appurtenances have
been completed and may be accepted by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby finds that the work has been completed according to the
contract and that the same is accepted by the City of Newport
Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the engineer shall cause to
be filed on behalf of the City a notice of completion of the work
designated as Schedule I.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 11th day of May,
1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Bart, Lorenz, Somers,
Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and ,maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5000 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of May , 19 59 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Somers, Kingsley,
Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
NOES, COUNCILMEN:
None
ABbENTI COUNCILMEN: None
