RESOLUTION NO. 5-023
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH.AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEWPORT.HARBOR LAWN
BOWLING ASSOCIATION

WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the Newport Harbor
Lawn Bowling Association entered into a contract dated October 14,
1958; and
WHEREAS, it now appears to be in the interests of both
parties to amend said contract to permit the association to retain
certain green fees for the purpose of maintaining the green; and
1,MEREAS, an amendment to the contract has been presented
to the City Council and found to be fair and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said agreement on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 8 tk day of
June, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and ,maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5023 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 8th day of June , 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
