RESOLUTION NO. 5 ^25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH.AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION.OF
CONTRACTS, TO SERVE WATER OUTSIDE THE CITY
BOUNDARIES TO FEDERAL.OIL COMPANY, ORANGE
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT AND G. E. KADANE
& SONS
WHEREAS, there have been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach for its acceptance and approval
contracts by and between the City of Newport Beach and Federal
Oil Company, Orange County Sanitation District and G. E. Kadane &
Sons, wherein said City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain
excess water of said City to said parties upon the conditions,
covenants and restrictions as therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has heretofore considered the
terms and conditions of said contracts and said terms and condi-
tions are reasonable and equitable;
NOW$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that those certain
between the City of Newport Beach and Federal Oil Company, Orange
County Sanitation District and G. E. Kadane & Sons, wherein the
City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain excess water upon
certain conditions, restrictions and limitations to said parties,
be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach
This resolution was adopted by the City,;Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 8th day of June,
1959, by the following vote, to wit:

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5026 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 8th day of dune , 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN. Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
