RESOLUTION NO. 5040
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEI^IPORT BEACH FLYING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY CLERK
VHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has the power and duty to establish the salary of the City Clerk;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4898 established the salary of th
City Clerk beginning January 1, 1959;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
1959, Resolution No. 4898 be rescinded and that the salary of the
City Clerk beginning July 1, 1959, shall be $ !s®d° per
year, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments
as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation of
the Cityts payroll.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 22nd day of June,
1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,
Higbie, Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5040 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 22d day of June , 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
