OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EEECUTION.OF

A.GRANT DEED

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach

publicly 'invited bids for the:purchase of surplus City property
7.
consisting of:

The'northeast 104.00 feet of the southwest 119.00.feet
of the following.descr-ibed property:

'Lot 10, Block 50,. River Section, in the City of Newport
10
Beach., County.of Orange; State of California as per map,
recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 4,, page 25, records of
11
Orange County, California; and a portion of Section 29,
Township 6 South, Range 10 West, of the San Bernardino
.12
Meridian, according to- an.o.fficial plat of said land filed
in the District Land Office, August 4, 1890, and more par=
13
ticularly described as follows, to wit:

Beginning at the westerly corner of said Lot 10; thence
northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot 10
15
and along the northeasterly prolongation of the north -
westerly line of said Lot 10 to an intersection with the
16
line of Ordinary High Tide of the Pacific Ocean in Newpor
Bay designated as "SOUTH LINE ", in final decree entered
17
August 22,.•1928, in Superior.Court action 23686, a certi-w
fied copy thereof being recorded September 19, 1928, in

Book 201, page 253, official records of said Orange
County; thence southeasterly along said H9SOUTH LINE" to

an intersection with the northeasterly prolongation of

December 14, 1959; at which time Elizabeth M. Rutherford was the

high bidder for the purchase of said property;. and

TM EREAS,.the bid of said high bidder was accepted by the
• 28 City and the property ordered.sold by the City Council;
• 29' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
30 Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a grant
'31 deed on behalf of the City of Newport Beach granting the above
32 described real property to said high bidder or to the person

designated by her in writing.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 28th day of
December, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
