WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates and describes an intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect stop signs at those entrances of such intersection where a stop is required and every driver of a vehicle shall stop at such intersection; and WHEREAS, the following described intersection should be designated as an intersection where vehicles are required to stop as hereinafter provided; NOW$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that the intersection of Marguerite Avenue at Fifth Avenue is hereby designated as an intersection where vehicles are required to stop at each entrance to Marguerite Avenue.
