RESOLUTION NO. 6533
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF,A
3 QUITCLAIM DEED OF -A PORTION. OF. AN. EASEMENT FOR
ROAD PURPOSES.

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has a perpetual
6 easement for road purposes for ingress and egress which was grante
7 to it by an indenture from The Irvine Company dated December 18,
8 1957, recorded in Book 4143, page 395, of Official Records of
9 Orange County, California; and
10 TRIEREAS, the City is relocating a portion of the subject
11 road, known as Pacific View Drive, and has received a Grant of
12 Easement therefor from The Irvine Company, as a result of which
13 the City has no present or prospective use for the portion of the
14 first mentioned easement hereinafter described; and
15 11HEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council a
16 Quitclaim Deed by which the City would quitclaim to Owners of
17 Record the Cityts interest in that portion of that certain ease -
18 ment for road purposes for ingress and egress over the following
19 described real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of
20 Orange, State of California:
21 That portion of Block 93 of Irvinels Subdivision as
per map recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous
22 Record Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of said County described as follows:

That portion of that certain perpetual easement for
24 road purposes, forty (40) feet in width as de-
scribed in the deed to the City of Newport Beach
25 recorded December 20, 1957 in Book 4143, Page
395 of Official Records, lying.Northwesterly of
26 the Northwesterly line of that certain Metropolitan
[-later District easement, 20.00 feet wide, de-
27 scribed in Book 2402, Page 469 of Official Records;
28 and
29 GTHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it would
30 be in the interest of the City to execute said Quitclaim Deed;
31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
32 Clerk are her authorized and directed to execute said Quitclaim

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6533 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 13th day of March , 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
