A P.ESCLUTION OF THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE CITY CF
NEa -PCRT BEACH ACCEPTING A G.1&1T.. CF . -EAS NTL
MZa AS, Southwestern Capital Corporation, a corpor-
ation, has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach
a Grant of Easement for sidewalk, pedestrian travel, and public
utility purposes in, under, along and over that certain real
property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Crange,
State of California, described as follows:
and
A strip of land, 12 feet wide, being a portion of
Section 35, Township 6 South, Range 10 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian; the northeasterly
line of said strip being the line of ordinary high
tide cf the Pacific Ocean in Newport Bay, as
established by a decree -rendered in the Superior
Court of the State of California, in and for the
County of Orange, in the action entitled City of
Newport Beach vs. First National Bank of Santa
Ana, and ethers (Case No. 23679),.a certified copy
of which decree was recorded Nov. 9, 1928, in Book
215, page 160, Official Records; the northwesterly
boundary of said 12 foot wide strip of land being
the northeasterly prolongation of the northwesterly
line of Lot 1, Block B, Nap of Bayside, as per map
recorded-in Book 3, Page 38 of Miscellaneous Naps
of said County; the southeasterly boundary of
said 12 foot wide strip of land being the south-
easterly live of that certain portion of the public
street right of way vacated per 'Resolution No. 7O0,
of the City of Newport Beach, recorded July 28,
1931 in Book 494, Page 386 of Official Records;
excepting therefrom the northeasterly 1.67 feet
thereof;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said Grant of Easement for such purposes;
NO'EY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Ease-
ment is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and dir-
ected to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance
and consent to its recording and to record said document in the
County Recorder's office.
