2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
3 LEASE RENUTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE NEWPORT HARBOR

GIRL SCOUT COUNCIL
5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the Newport
6 Harbor Girl Scout Council, as successor in interest to the Girl
7 Scout Association of Newport Harbor, are parties to a lease
8 effective December 1, 1947, by which the Association leases
9 certain City -owned real property for a Girl Scout building, which
10 lease has been subsequently amended and the term thereof extended
11 to November 30, 1967; and
12 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
13 a Lease Renewal Agreement requested by the Newport Harbor Girl
14 Scout Council which would extend the existing lease for an
15 additional period of -ten years, commencing on December 1, 1967,
16 and ending on November 30, 1977; and
17 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of
18 said agreement: and found them to be fair and equitable and in
19 the best interests of the City and the public;
20 NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Lease Renewal
21 Agreement is approved and the Mayor and City Cleric are hereby
22 authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City
23� of Newport Beach.

City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 10th day of April 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
