RESOLUTION NO. 6592
A RESOLUTION? OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH.AWARDING,A CONTRACT FOR. THE. TUSTIN
AVENUE. _16 -INCH WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN.. (CONTRACT
N0. 1079)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
consisting of the Tustin Avenue 16 -inch water transmission main
in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 20th
day of June, 1967, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is industrial Pipeline Construction Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of
Pipeline Construction Company in the amount of $63,400.00 be
accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED thatthe Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 26th day of June , 1967.
