RESOLUTION NO, 6603
A RESOLUTION Or THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE- CITY OF
NaTEORT BEACH A11ENDING SECTION. 13 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 6356 PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 (formerly Section 3292.1) of
the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that the City Council
shall by resolution designate streets or portions of streets on
which the parking or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and
shall designate in the resolution the days of the week and the
exact hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and
SEAS, on May 9, 1966, the City Council adopted Resolu -'
tion No. 6356 which prohibited parking between the hours of 8 :00
a.m. and 6 :00 p.m. on the first Saturday following May 15 and on
each Saturday, Sunday and holiday thereafter to the day following
Labor Day of each year on certain streets or portions of streets
designated therein, including as Section 13 the northwesterly side
of Orchid Avenue from Ocean Boulevard to East Coast Highway; and
I-rA REAS, the City Council has determined that said Sectic-
13 should be amended as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Section 13 of Resolu-
tion No. 6356 be amended to read as follows:
"13. The northwesterly side of Orchid Avenue from
Ocean Boulevard to the alley located approxi-
mately 80 feet south of East Coast Highway."
ADOPTED this 26th day of June, 1967. (�

held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 26th day of June , 1967,
