6 1 Plunicipal Code establishes on- street parking meter zones and sets
7'Ithe fees for parking in such zones and provides that the City
8 Council may by resolution establish off - street parking meter zones
9 and set the fees for parking in such zones; and
10 I-TEMIZAS, said chapter further provides that the City
11 Council shall by resolution designate the denomination of coins
12 to be deposited in parking meters, the parking time allowed folw
131lowing such deposit, and the hours of the day, the clays of the
14 week, and the weeks of the year during which deposits are required
15 and the meters will be in operation; and
16' off - street parking meter zones and regulations
17 for the operation of parking meters were established by Resolution
18 No. 6564, Sections 5 of which established fees for parking at parkin
19 meters in the off-street ,parking meter zones; and
201 [3HERMU, the City Council desires to amend Section 5 of
21 Resolution No. 6564 to change the fee for parking at parking meters
22Iin zone 10 to ten cents per hour;
231 MM.Ts TIMIEFORZ , BE IT RESOLVED that Section 5 of Resolu-
241tion No. 6564 is hereby amended to read:
25i "Section 5. The fees for parking at parking meters in
the zones established by this resolution when the parking
26 meters are in operation are hereby established at ten cents
per hour in zone 10; twenty cents per hour in zone ll,
27 the northerly two rows of meters in zone 12, and in zones
13, 15, and 16.; and twenty -five cents per hour in the
28, first row of meters on the beach side of zone 12,1'
