VIMMAS, the public beaches in the City are used by
j large numbers of County residents who are not residents of the
City, resulting in increased costs to the City for maintenance and
lifeguard services; and
43I1.`iiZAS, the estimated increase in cost to the City for
providing said services for the fiscal year 1967 -1968 is the sum
of $62,330; and
I-REMAS, an agreement has been presented to the City
Council in which Orange County agrees to ;say the City y62,330 to
reimburse the City for said additional costs;
Mj, TIMF.F" RZ, BE: IT RLSOLVIED that the City Council of
t-he City of Neiport Beach hereby requests that the County provide
financial assistance in the amount of $62,330 to reimburse the
City for said increased costs.
BL IT FURTEM RZSOLVED that the mayor and City Clark
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on
behalf of the City.
