21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING.A PORTION.
3 OF A CERTAIN STREET,KNOCJN AS OCEAN FRONT WHICH
IS PROPOSED TO.BE VACATED, CLOSED UPAND ABANDONED

51I WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
l
6' has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
7 certain map entitled "Vacation of Portion of Ocean Front ", being
8 City of Newport Beach Public Works Department Drawing No.
9 R /W- 5052 -L, showing a 'portion .of Ocean Front in the City of New -
10 port Beach which the City is considering vacating, closing up
11 and abandoning, and which portion is more particularly described
121 as follows:
13 Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line
of Ocean Front, said point being 4 feet North -
14 westerly from the Southeasterly corner of
Lot 5 in Block F, Seashore Colony Tract, as
15 shown on a Map recorded in Book 7,.page 25
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
16 County, California; thence Northwesterly
26 feet along the Northeasterly line of Ocean
17 Front to the Southwesterly corner of said
Lot 5; thence Southwesterly 15 feet along the
181 Southwesterly prolongation of the North-
westerly line of said Lot 5; thence Southeasterly
19 parallel to the Northeasterly line of said Ocean
Front to the Southwesterly prolongation of the
20 Northwesterly.line of the Southeasterly 4 feet
of said Lot 5; thence Northeasterly along said
27 prolongation to the point of beginning.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map be and is
23 hereby approved axed adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
24 directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
251 of said portion of said street.
