2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NE14PORT BEACH DESIGNATING AN INTERSECTION.AT
3 WHICH VEHICLES-ARE REQUIRED TO STOP

5 [,AREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
6 Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates
7 and describes an intersection at which vehicles are required to
8 stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer
9 shall erect stop signs at those entrances of such intersection
10 where a stop is required and every driver of a vehicle shall stop
11 at such intersection; and
12 11HEREAB, the intersection of Santa Isabel Avenue and
13 Irvine Avenue should be designated as an intersection where
14 vehicles are required to stop as hereinafter provided;
15 NOC7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
16 the City of Newport Beach that the intersection of Santa Isabel
17 Avenue at Irvine Avenue is hereby designated as an intersection
18 where vehicles are required to stop at the entrance for eastbound
19 11 traffic only.
20 ADOPTED this 25th day of September 1967.
