2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MNORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR.THE,PARK-
3 ING. LOT ON NUMORT ,BOUL.EVARD. BEnZEN 28TH AND

30TH.STREETS (CONTRACT N6..1116).

WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6
consisting of the parking lot on Newport Boulevard between 28th
7
and 30th Streets, in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance
8
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
9
received on the 14th day of September, 1967, and publicly opened
10
and declared; and
11
GRMREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12
therefor is S. J. Cook & Sons, Inc.;
13
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of S. J.
14
Cook & Sons,'Inc. in the amount of $11,608.00 be accepted and that
15
the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
16
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
17
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
18
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
19
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
20
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.

ADOPTED this 25th day of September 1967.

City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 25th day of September , 1967,
