RESOLUTION N0. 6687
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE-SEWER
MAIN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM 1957 -68 (CONTRACT NO.
1145)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
consisting of the sewer main replacement program 1967 -68, in
accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
bids were received on the 19th day of December, 1967, and publicly
opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Far Western Pipeline, Inc.;
NO1,79 THEREFGaE' BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Far
Western Pipeline, Inc., in the amount of X44,952.50 be accepted
and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to
said bidder.
BE IT FURTt RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 27th day of December, 1967.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6687 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 27th day of December , 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook,
Foreit, Shelton
