A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE 1979 -80 COMPEN-
SATION PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION TO
DELETE THEREFROM THE AUTHORIZATION FOR COMMU-
NITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, ASSISTANT COMMUNI-
TY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR - PLANNING, AND ASSIS-
TANT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR - BUILDING,
AND CREATING AN AUTHORIZATION AND COMPENSATION
FOR THE PLANNING DIRECTOR, BUILDING DIRECTOR,
AND CURRENT PLANNING ADMINISTRATOR
WHEREAS, the positions of Community Development
Director, Assistant Community Development Director - Planning,
and Assistant Community Development Director - Building have
been eliminated; and
WHEREAS, the positions of Planning Director, Building
Director, and Current Planning Administrator have been created
by the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the 1979 -80 Compensation Plan and
Table of Authorization is amended by deleting therefrom the posi-
tions of Community Development Director, Assistant Community
Development Director - Planning, and Assistant Community Develop-
ment Director - Building, and inserting therein the following
three positions as hereinafter set forth:
