A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF
A RIGHT -OF -WAY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND FORD
AEROSPACE AND COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION AND
EAGLE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY /DAON CORPORATION,
IN CONNECTION WITH THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
REQUIRED WITH RESUBDIVISION NO. 629
WHEREAS, Ford Aerospace and Communications Corpo-
ration and Eagle Development Company /Daon Corporation have
made an offer of• dedication of a right -of -way of a portion
of Block 56, Irvine subdivision, bounded by Bison Avenue,
Jamboree Road, Ford Road, and MacArthur Boulevard in connec-
tion with Resubdivision No. 629; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Subdivision Agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and Ford Aerospace and Commu-
nications Corporation and Eagle Development Company /Daon Corpo-
ration guaranteeing completion of the improvements required
with Resubdivision No. 629; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the offer of
dedication of said right-of-way and finds that the acceptance
of the above - described offer to be in the best interest of the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of the above- described Subdivision Agreement and
finds them to be satisfactory and that it would be in the best
interest of the City to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said offer of dedication is
hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said agreement above
described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
