ANNUAL AUDIT
Yearly, the City Council contracts for an annual audit of
the financial transactions of the City and management improvement
recommendations, if improvements are evident to the auditors.
Commencing in 1980, and every three years thereafter, the City
shall obtain written proposals from interested auditors to conduct
this auditing service and from these proposals, the Council shall
select an auditor to perform the work. However, upon satisfactory
completion of the work performed during each of the first three.
years the City Council may extend the auditing services agreement
an additional three years without obtaining written proposals.
