WHEREAS, by virtue of Traffic Ordinance No.

3L/�— and amendments thereto, of the City of Newport Beach,

the City Council of the City of Newport Beach is authorized,
8
directed and instructed to prohibit parking on certain streets
9
in said city; and

WHEREAS, under said Ordinance No. .3�i�� , the
11
City Council of the City of Newport Beach is authorized to pro -
12
hibit parking on said streets by Resolution duly passed by said
13
City Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. That the parr.

ing of automobiles and other vehicles is absolutely prohibited

on the Westerly side of Marine Avenue, between the northerly
17
line of Balboa Avenue and the Southerly line of North Bay Front
18
Street, Balboa Island, City of Newport Beach, Orange County,
19
California, and the Chief of Police of the City of NewportBeach
20
is authorized, directed and instructed to paint the west curb
21
of said Marine Avenue, between the northerly line of Balboa
22
Avenue and the southerly line of North Bay Front Street , Balboa
23
Isalnd, Newport Beach, Orange County, California, a solid

color, and is authorized and directed to post said
25
aide of said street by appropriate signs, showing that parking
26
on said side of said street is prohibited.
