WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana., has by resolution
4 duly adopted and passed by its City Council, requested of and
5
from the Secretary of the Interior on behalf of itself and other
6
municipalities to whom Hoover Dam energy has been allocated, an
7
additional period of four months to and including November 15th,
8
19312 in which to enter into contracts; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of SantaAna
10
has requested the City Council of the City of Newport Beach to
11
concur in said request for said extension of time.
12
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City
13
Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby concur and
14
approve of such request and respectfully joins with said City
15
16 of Santa Ana in said request.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
17
18 Resolution be immediately mailed by the City Clerk of the City of
19 Newport Beach to the Secretary of the Interior at Washington, D.C.
20 certify
21 I hereby that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
22 regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
23 at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of July, 1931,
